I live in FL and there is very little help for the unemployed. VERY LITTLE. EHEAP is out of money and only gives out $400. 99 percent of people who try to get help with their light bill are turned down. You can only go to food pantries once every 2 months. People are waiting so incredibly long to get their unemployment approved, they are losing their houses in the mean time. DO NOT BE POOR IN FL!!...Now, people on welfare in FL get everything, even free houses. It's terrible. The state won't help a working person looking for a job, but they do help lazy peoplel who don't want to work. I know this for a fact. I live here.
